Malawi-Zambia Transfrontier Conservation Area
Meet the people living and working in Malawi-Zambia TFCA. After seeing a rise in deforestation, two beautiful countries came together in 2004 and established the Malawi Zambia TFCA, with a solution to protect their a variety of land-uses national parks, wildlife and forest reserves. All this whilst fostering a good relationship between the game management and the communities living in communal areas, villages and towns within and around the TFCA.

Meet the people living in and around the ARTP. This seemingly arid ancient landscape, is enshrined with some of the richest succulent flora in the world, stretching across 5 920 km2 of spectacular desert mountains and home to the second longest river in the SADC region, the majestic Orange River.

SADC Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs)
There are 12 TFCAs in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in both terrestrial and marine environments at various stages of development. Their configuration varies from those that are Transfrontier Parks (TP) that include two or more adjacent and protected areas like Kalagadi Transfrontier Park, to those that include a complexity of land-uses such as communal land, concession areas and protected areas like Kavango-Zambezi TFCA.

Conserving Wetlands for Sustainable Cities Development
Working with Makhulu Media, we created a film celebrating the international recognition of Kasane-Kazungula and Shakawe as Ramsar-Accredited Wetland Cities. These are not just local wins — they’re milestones for our planet’s biodiversity.
